World Mental Health Week Leadership Summit
The Global Mental Health Task Force will convene its inaugural World Mental Health Week Leadership Summit at the United Nations Dining Room, bringing together leaders across policy, investment, science, technology, healthcare, philanthropy, innovation, and lived experience.
Through expert panels, keynote conversations, a seated luncheon, and curated opportunities for connection, the Summit will explore the ideas, research, partnerships, and investments shaping the future of mental health.
Programming will span mental health across generations, brain health and longevity, investment in mental health, responsible innovation, and lived experience, with a focus on moving important conversations out of silos and toward collective action.
Forum - UNGA Side Event
The evening included insights from notable organizations and spiritual leader Deepak Chopra, who emphasized mindfulness and inner peace. His message highlighted the importance of mental wellness today. The event celebrated a commitment to tackling mental health challenges through community engagement and collaboration, marking the start of a journey to enhance global mental wellness and foster hope and connection.
Games For Change Festival
We held 65 talks, panels, and workshops featuring 150 speakers from 12 countries, enabling over 200 meetings via the G4C App for valuable networking. During the 2-day event, we announced Anjali Bhimani as our first G4C Ambassador to promote the impact of games worldwide, attracting more than 2000 online and in-person viewers.

Held a virtual meeting to connect leaders, introduce Taskforce members, gauge interest in topics, and present working groups.
Launch of the Taskforce
The Global Mental Health Task Force officially launched in November 2023 at a pivotal event in the United Nations Delegates' Dining Room, uniting leaders dedicated to transforming mental health support. This launch at the UN catalyzed our movement, laying the groundwork for advancing mental health as a fundamental human right.
